Celebrity Cruise Day 6, Hiroshima – Cello in Love 🎶
Cello in Love

If you’ve been following along, you know I love making connections between travel and personal memories. Well, tonight brought me all the way back to 1984, when I first watched the cult classic Electric Dreams. It’s a quirky sci-fi romance about a man, his computer, and a concert cellist next door. That movie actually inspired me to pick up the cello for a while! Although I didn’t keep up with playing, my love for the instrument has stayed with me—and seeing it featured as part of our cruise entertainment lineup felt like such a full-circle moment.
Wendy Law’s performance was stunning—powerful, moving, and filled with passion. The cello is one of those instruments that seems to speak directly to the soul, and tonight it did exactly that.
After the show, we stepped outside to take in the fresh sea air and were treated to yet another breathtaking sunset over the Pacific. Can you believe it’s only Day 6 of our 12-day cruise through Japan? We’re only halfway through this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, and I can’t wait to see what else is in store.
Cruising isn’t just about the destinations—it’s about the journey. The shows, the sunsets, the little unexpected moments that make you stop and say, “Wow, I’ll never forget this.”
So, here’s to music, memories, and the magic of travel. Stay tuned for Day 7—you won’t want to miss what’s coming next!
✨ Fun Fact: The cello, often called the “voice of music,” has been used for centuries in both classical and contemporary pieces. Its rich, deep sound is often compared to the human voice, which is why it’s so emotional and moving to hear live.
