A Heartfelt Farewell from the Celebrity Cruises Crew — Until We Sail Again! 🚒✨

Until We Sail Again! 🚒✨

If you’ve ever taken a cruise with Celebrity Cruises, you know it’s more than just a vacation — it’s a full-on experience. From the moment you step aboard, you’re welcomed by smiling faces, ocean breezes, and a team that feels like family. And in this farewell video, the amazing crew reminds us why we keep coming back again and again.

Let’s take a little peek behind the scenes of this emotional send-off!

Patrick, the Cruise Director — Setting Sail with Heart

Patrick summed it up perfectly when he said:

“We are not just a company. We are a family, and you are a part of that too.”

That’s exactly what makes Celebrity Cruises so special — you don’t just book a trip; you join a family at sea. Patrick reminded us that every voyage is an adventure, and there’s always a next one waiting. Bon voyage, safe travels, and see you soon on another Celebrity Adventure!

Fun fact: Did you know the average Celebrity cruise travels over 3,000 nautical miles? That’s about the distance from Miami to London — all while you’re sipping cocktails by the pool! 🍹🌊

Ismail, the Hotel Director — The Heart Behind the Hospitality

Then there’s Ismail, the ship’s Hotel Director, who shared his gratitude:

“It has been my pleasure serving you… thank you very much for cruising with us.”

If you’ve ever noticed how smooth and seamless your stay on board feels — from perfectly folded towels to midnight snacks magically appearing — you can thank the Hotel Director’s team. They make every voyage feel like a five-star getaway on water.

Cruise Tip: Next time you’re on board, take a behind-the-scenes tour! Many Celebrity ships offer them, and you’ll be amazed at the precision and teamwork it takes to keep a floating city running.

Pierre, the Captain — A Journey Measured in Memories

Captain Pierre brought it home with this beautiful sentiment:

“This voyage is not measured in nautical miles but in the joy and fond memories that we’ve all shared together.”

And isn’t that the truth? Cruises aren’t about the distance traveled — they’re about sunsets on the open sea, laughter over dinner, and new friendships that start with a simple “Where are you from?”ο»Ώ

A Farewell… But Not Goodbye

As I said in the video:

“Farewell for now. See you on our next cruise. Here’s a look back at one of my favorite memories.”

I still can’t believe I ended up in the official video that wrapped up all the cruise highlights! πŸŽ₯ The clip of me singing my heart out during the Game Show: Sing It If You Know It popped up on the big screen — talk about a surprise! It’s especially funny because I’m usually the one behind the camera — the photographer, the videographer, the memory-capturer. But of course, the one time I step into the spotlight, belting it out on the main floor and actually winning the game, my husband forgets to hit record! πŸ˜… Thankfully, the amazing Celebrity Cruises entertainment crew had their cameras rolling, and guess what? I actually caught my moment on video after all! 🌟

This might be a farewell from the incredible Celebrity Cruises staff, but the adventure doesn’t end here! Keep following along — there’s still so much more to see, from breathtaking destinations to insider cruise tips and behind-the-scenes fun from life at sea.

So grab your virtual passport, because the next voyage is just around the corner. πŸŒ΄βš“

Did you know there’s a place in South Dakota where you can literally take home a piece of history? πŸ‘€ Yep—welcome back to Part 3 of our Crazy Horse Memorial adventure, where we dive into one of the most meaningful and fascinating areas of the entire complex: the Native American Educational and Cultural Center. Located in the heart of the Black Hills of South Dakota, Crazy Horse Memorial is already one of the most awe-inspiring monuments in the United States—but stepping into this center takes the experience to a whole new level.

πŸ‘€ “Would you believe me if I told you this mountain has had over ELEVEN MILLION tons of rock blasted away… and it’s still not finished? Let me show you why this $5 tour is one of the best travel deals in America.” Welcome to Part 2 of our Crazy Horse Memorial adventure — and today we’re hopping on the guided bus tour that takes you right up to the mountain itself. For just five dollars per person, this ride gets you shockingly close to the carving-in-progress — and trust me… hearing the story while standing beneath it hits completely different. Our guide, Allen, shared how this all began back in 1947, when sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski arrived in the Black Hills from Connecticut… to a place with no roads, no water, no electricity. He literally lived in a tent for seven months before clearing trees and building a log studio by hand. By the late 1950s, with ten kids to raise, the family even opened a dairy farm right on site — and today they still raise cattle here. Oh — and the very first admission to Crazy Horse in 1950? πŸ‘‰ Just 50 cents per carload.

“If you’re going to Mount Rushmore and NOT stopping here… you’re doing South Dakota wrong.” And honestly? I stand by that. 😏 Just 30 minutes from Mount Rushmore, tucked into the heart of the Black Hills of South Dakota, sits one of the most fascinating landmarks in the United States — the Crazy Horse Memorial. This isn’t just another quick roadside attraction. It’s one of the largest mountain carving projects in the world… and it’s still being built today. If you’re planning a Mount Rushmore road trip, a South Dakota vacation, or a national parks adventure, put this stop high on your list.
